AVFR conducts Fire and EMS training each month. While some classes are designed specifically for our members, many of our classes are open to other regional department members.
AVFR also instructs CPR classes and Advanced Life Support courses Such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
AVFR is an associate member of the Tidewater Regional Fire Academy(TRFA) and can sponsor any active members into a regional class
